So, wrapping up the work week and have a documentary on one of the monitors. The segment was about the Greek Civil War (1946—1949) and one of the fighters was cleaning a rifle with an unusual muzzle device:
Thinking maybe Finnish Lahti cannon?
Though what one was doing in the Hellenic Republic, I can't say. Though that time and place had a truly diverse set of weapons about; indigenous, Allied, Axis, and others. So, perhaps from Germany's erstwhile ally or captured by the Soviets who supplied one side.
Anyone hazard a guess?
