Normally, when there are gunshots and no sirens, are those just NDs or actual thuggery?

I would guess NDs if no sirens. I'd guess there would be plenty of folks calling in gun shots in most of King county. Heck most of western wa.
As far as carrying,some have said it isn't a problem to open carry around the puget sound area. I wouldn't do much cause of the thug factor (rather have the surprise factor) and because most everyone is scared of guns there. Don't need the attention.
In Seattle you would most likely get stopped for open carry.
BTW what are you doing for work over there? Did I miss it?
