If you notice the battery compartment cap sitting on the table in one of the pictures.

There is no battery in it.

Saw hop from TFBTV do this with one. He took the battery out and ran it without one.

I wanted to try it as I'm swapping batteries for some fresh ones.

Yep, no battery, no problem.

So long as you have light.

May need to test this at night!!!

Note this is an older 507. They have much newer versions out now that are likely even better than this one.

I've used this guy on many guns, including very roughly on a speed steel rifle. It's seen lots and lots of pews.

I wholeheartedly trust it.

I wouldn't bet on that without knowing more - technological doodads tend to require more power the more sophisticated they get.

I do like the 1 holosun I have. Need to find an optic for a g19 and am considering them again. Or an Acro.
