There have been a LOT of women in the inner cities, in small towns and in rural lake/farm areas taking classes for their basic firearm training as a Newbie and MANY of them are getting their concealed carry permits too.

I know of 2 older ladies, one younger lady and a young man who are learning to shoot and bought their firearms recently in my former state (NOT Michigan.). Most of them live VERY rural but one of them moved to the 'city' in a nice area too.
