Mens single strap Backpack

I am looking for recommendations for a single strap backpack. This will be for EDC. I need it to fit the following criteria:

-Not to tactical looking, but not like a women's purse. (business casual-ish)
-Can hold a portfolio (letter or legal size). Even better if it could hold an 11x17 sheet of paper flat, but I doubt that exists.
-Concealing a small firearm (Sub-compact XD or GLOCK G27) would be a plus, but not a must.

Anybody have any recommendations.

I had a "messenger bag" custom made by Tom Binh back when I was riding motorcycles (mine has reflective strip, etc). Hard wearing and has lasted years with no wear and will carry whatever I need to carry
He's based out of Seattle now and has off the rack ready made bags in all shapes and sizes or can custom make one.

Nah, I got a 2 strap badlands and a maxpidition from people on here used.

If you don't want to stand out though, targets are everywhere and have ok bags.

Mrs. USMC-03 gave me a messenger type bag for Christmas with the intent of it being a place to store my carry handgun and accessories so she can just grab it and bring it to me when picking me up at the airport.

The messenger bags are nice and don't stand out in the PNW.

I use a canvas one for all my small game gear so Incan grab a gun and that bag and be out the door.

Filson has a great single strap bag called the Field bag.

If you sign up for the NRA they'll give you a single strap for duffel bag in camo or black. It can fit all you've listed and won't look so much like a purse.

I never used a one strap for the simple reason, if my stuff is on my back, I want it there, steady.
11x17 is going to be difficult. I use a large FDE tactical pack for my work gear. I carry a lot of stuff sometimes, and the heaviest it has weighed out is 53#.

I do have a shoulder bag that carries all my safety gear for range shooting: 4 sets of muffs, a myriad of safety glasses, chamber flags and plugs. It will fit a 15" laptop. Has a big CIALIS logo embroidered on the side. Bought it at Goodwill for <$5 some years ago. I'd carry and use it when I was out and about with my 4 kids.

The Bugout Gear brand Laptop bag works great; served my needs for 8 years+. I did need to improve the points of attachment for the shoulder strap with gutted 550 cord.
