OK. I know about the first two now but not the second one.What road are the pits on just to check if I got my info right.

Is 224 still passable by car? Meaning any snow? Itching to go shooting in the morning before Thanksgiving dinner, but if it's impassable then I'll just stay home.. lol

Went up today, about 1/2" to 1" on the roads and a little more in the first big area to shoot.

Went up to shoot for a few hours 12/16. No snow for the first couple miles, then gradually increased to 12-14" at the rock pit. Barely manageable in my AWD.

How was 224? Passable by car? Itching to shoot but I don't have an AWD/4WD vehicle unfortunately..

224 was clear all the way. Snow began 3-4 miles up memaloose rd. Be cautious, conditions may have changed in the last few days

I was up there shooting today 12/24/12 , there is about 2+ft of snow. 4x4 access only I think

bad is a relative term, I have a good 4x4 and am not overly worried by snow,, just wondering how deep/rutted the snow is?

Its about 2ft deep and rutted if you have Mudterrains or chains u should be ok with the 4X4

You can probably get up there without a 4 wheel drive in ... like April... May

was up today. if you have a 4x4 and dont have to pull off to let someone else pass you will be fine. pulling out of the ruts is a bit of a challenge
