I hate always playing defense with these pinheads. We need to be aggressive with the recall efforts. They need to know that the 2nd isn't up for debate and when you attack it, you lose your job. Hopefully enough get the point that they think twice.
Doesn't work. We've been doing that dance since 1968. Arm up. Lock-n-load. Consolidate efforts in the freer states, and abandon the communist Hell holes.

That would include Oregon, Washington and California. I grew up in Washington and have Pro2A relatives there. I moved to Oregon in the 80's and plan on staying. I will fight the good fight until they lock me up or ...

Although that's the goal, it's easier said than done in my case. I'm not in a financial position to just uproot my life in any quick fashion and move to a different state. I'm also a petty individual and want to be involved in some counter effort, win or lose. They deserve to be reminded that they're bubblegums. Just my 2 cents.

I understand that...But I was in the fight for nearly 40 years in CA., thinking it would make a difference. It didn't. Demographic changes, the influence of LA and SanFransicko, spineless politicians, supposedly on our side, and the couch potatoes amongst us could not overcome the communist one party system in the PRK. And it has spread to the entire Left and Northeast coasts of America. Hang on as long as you can, but our odds are better in a tactical retreat to Idaho, Utah, Montana, Wyoming, Arizona and maybe for a short time in precarious Nevada.
Best of luck to you.

And too many people think freedom is now "safe" because of who is in the Whitehouse. But as we are already seeing, the entrenched psychopathy of the woke left and deep state will violently resist any attempts to dismantle their stranglehold on power.
Have there been some wins for the constitution and patriotism in the past three months? Sure. Is the left rolling over and surrendering? Not likely. Will the left lash out like a child having a temper tantrum? That is almost guaranteed. The problem is that this spoiled child has lawfare, corruption, mind altering drugs, Molotov cocktails and a decade of practice peacefully buring down and looting police stations, businesses, homes, cars, churches, schools, etc...

Those of us with the ability to leave, should. Those of us stuck here better get prepared, or should seriously re-evaluate our priorities and figure what is more important - our safety or our comfort. Because let's be brutally honest, police and politicians won't help. They are overwhelmed by volume or overcome by corruption.

Yep! 100%. We will be in the position of either politely leaving, or battling the borg drones in the streets of LA, San Fransicko, Oakland, Portland, Seattle, Tacoma.
I hope we have all learned the lessons of the Blamtifa riots in Portland and Seattle from a few years ago. Those scumbags were allowed to point lasers in the eyes of federal aw enforcement, leading to permanent blindness for some. That is inexcusable, and the mayor and City cops stood by and let it happen. It cannot happen again, and a situation that should be taken care of by law abiding Citizens with arms.

Cops didn't do anything when they were burning out businesses in Eugene either during that time. Trump famously said, when the looting starts, the shooting starts. Well, if only that turned out to be true.

I asked before and still think it's reasonable to ask those that have given up to start their own thread.
There is one already going:

It has been filed; it's on hold at 9th Circuit.
Didn't the 9th Circuit recently declared that mag bans are ""constitutional"" in Duncan V Bonta take two as of March 20th, 2025...? The only thing left of the appeal IMO is for them to declare that permits to purchase firearms are ""constitutional"" and ""does not impede nor infringe on law abiding citizens ability to acquire firearms""

C D Michel says the Duncan v. Bonta en banc ruling will be appealed to SCOTUS; they have 90 days from March 20, 2025 to file.

Update 4-23, from C D Michel's email
Significantly, the court's "mandate" enforcing the ruling has been stayed at CRPA's request. This means the decision is not yet final, and the law will not be enforced while further legal challenges continue. This preserves the status quo, so while acquiring new 10+ round magazines is still prohibited, magazines currently possessed are still legal to possess.

Michel & Associates is preparing a Petition to file in the U.S. Supreme Court to review this deeply flawed ruling.
