Martini Henry carbine, marked H.R.B. Co. 1894, MkII, C1. Antique, so no FFL transfer required. Rifling has been removed, has been converted to a smoothbore as part of the HRB contract for Indian police for .476 smoothbore/buckshot carbines. Reference books discussing this model say only 25k-30k made in this lot, in which long-barreled MkII rifles were converted to carbines for this sale to India. Fires standard M-H brass. Action function smoothly. Good bore, discoloration on metal but no rusting. Minor pitting on breech as shown. Wood in generally good condition, no obvious repairs or cracks.
