The Massachusetts Supreme Court overturned a state ban on the possession of stun guns. It grudgingly came to that conclusion in this case after being spanked by the US Supreme Court in a previous decision (Caetano) where it had ruled the ban was constitutional in part because stun guns didn't exist when the 2A was written. LOL.

Yep -- it's pretty clear that without the Caetano smack-down, the MA court would have done the same -- the opinion reads sort of like "Sorry guys, we tried to uphold the total ban, even wanted to legislate from the bench, but our hands are tied so please write some ridiculously restrictive legislation as soon as you can."
