OK, rain is not going to stop for another month
just put my new Geissele 2 stage trigger in the M27 - couldn't wait
works GREAT - 4.5 lbs total break - 2 lbs second stage
in the rain - on my gravel path coming up to the house - warned my wife in advance
84 rnd as fast I could pull the trigger and reload- off the bi-pod
the red dot in the EOTECH never left the target area - out at 100 yds
CHEEP UMC ammo
after the string - opened the receiver and dropped the bolt in my bare hand - cool from the weather and rain
love this piston drive, HBAR - I know why the USMC switched over to the M27 from their M4 and M16
and on a discouraging note - I used to fire prone with a 6" Harris bi-pod - now have to use their longer one extended to 10" - a lot more of me today!!
