Fact is we live in an honest society and those that don't work within it can literally get away with about anything these days.
Excellent point. The vast majority are good honest folks just trying to live life, raise their families and try and do better then their parents did for them.

It's crazy, we all have phones and are on them all the time yet last night I didn't even think about filming. Lessons for the future.
Truth be told though, it's not a wise move to get involved other than alerting store personnel. Unless life or limb are in danger, that's a different story. There's a lot of crazy, strung out and unstable people who are stealing for their next fix or to satisfy their mental cravings. Like others said, let the store deal with it. They write off their losses every year anyway. It's not worth being a hero.

I would MAYBE have done the same. Can't say for sure without seeing the dude and the circumstances. But there's no point in anyone getting hurt...or worse...over a hundred bucks in cards from a large company that can absorb the loss. Hang back. Be a good witness if you can. Advise the store and the police.

Do be carful following people like this. You have no idea whether they are armed or not and/or what they're capable of.
