Looks like it was a nice hunting over and under before they butchered it. That barrel lever is f'd now. The police will destroy it of course anyway...

Yeah, that looks like a choke screwed into the bottom barrel. And it looks like a break action.

Sounds like after moped hit the guy crim dropped the shotgun and it went off when hit the ground. No surprise there as the whole mechanism is exposed sine they completely removed the stock. Any bump woudl set that thing off.
