To be aware... if a shop says they will... it's more than likely they will send it into the mfg for repair and simply tack on an upcharge for themselves. It's typically better to cut out the middle man and deal direct or at least make it absolutely clear how they intend to affect the repair.

Some mfg's may not service or have parts for older models so your options are limited, but kind of a common low down practice to be aware of.

Depending on the brand, might have some kind of warranty. Check with manufacture for repair recommendations.
