Monocular vs binocular

Just pondering some. Binoculars are for observation of the field while monocular tend to be more target oriented. Like a scope on a rifle is a monocular for pin point a target.

Probably wrong on this but it's an observation.

I think you may have meant you prefer to set HER diopters…?

Thanks for all the replies. I meant to follow up on this previously, but life got away from me (it does that sometimes, right?)

I ended up getting a pair of Bushnell Legend Ultra HD in 8x42

For the price, these have excellent glass by all accounts.
