I want to load subsonic for 308 and 223, I have done some research and found many different opinions and few recipes.
I did get some good tips:
My rifle is set up for the heavier bullets so it makes sense to take advantage of this. I was thinking 200 or even 220.
The 308 is the primary gun. Savage 10 FCP which has a 1:10 - 24" barrel - I will be using a 308 suppressor.
The 223 is secondary - 20" barrel with same suppressor
I found this for 308 and 223 using Trail Boss. The problem is they only have data for lighter bullets.

I did get some good tips:
- Use fast pistol powders to avoid Secondary Explosion Effect http://www.thehighroad.org/archive/index.php/t-564535.html
- Shoot first shots with suppressor off to avoid baffle strikes from unstabilized bullets.

- Does anyone have a recipe for me?
- How much risk will I be taking if I work up my own loads? For example, if I took a subsonic recipe with a lighter bullet and substituted a heavier bullet.
- If I roll my own, what are the do's and don'ts?
