Join the #1 community for gun owners of the Northwest
We believe the 2nd Amendment is best defended through grass-roots organization, education, and advocacy centered around individual gun owners. It is our mission to encourage, organize, and support these efforts throughout Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming.
I have the 4 hole and like it fine. Mine is just the press without all of the gadgetry. I de cap/resize as one process. I prime as one process. I leave the rod out and manually rotate the turret to seat and crimp. As far as the brass goes I would just load the pistol brass but, I would resize new rifle brass and check it for OAL before loading.
Because some die sets use 4 dies. resizing and decapping, bullet seating, factory crimp, powder charging or even a case trimming die for the lee zip trim.
Better to have too many spots to fill than not enough
Get the cast iron Classic four hole.. it'll last a lifetime.
I often don't use the fourth station in auto-advance mode but big whoop.. it's a fine press.
