Lane County public lands -- where to shoot?

Hey gang,

Moving to the wet side from Deschutes. Not asking you guys to give up any of your secret spots, but looking for somewhere I can shoot on public lands around Springfield / Eugene / Veneta. I clean up after myself and shoot safely. Any recommendations appreciated. Thanks!

No idea on public lands up that way.

If you are also considering clubs, perhaps include Albany Rifle & Pistol Club (ARPC).

Depending upon where you move to, ARPC is roundabout 40 minutes from Eugene. Very nice club including many disciplines, with great hours. Only thing lacking IMO, is distance beyond 200.

Marys Pit is your closest known spot. You can find info on known places to shoot at https://www.trashnoland.org/

You can shoot against any dirt backstop on public lands, I would check out BLM and NF lands west of you....
