Boy Scout at age 9 (Cub Scouts) then Boy Scouts, until 17 (Explorer Scouts). Army at 18. Rappelling, rope bridges, zip lines, etc.. We were making survival bracelets and such, out of parachute cord, long before it became a popular tactical-cool thing. Life long fisherman. I claim that I know some knots. So there... virtual sticking out tongue.
