Reminds me of the time a man brought his new muzzle loader to the Marysville Rifle Club's Hunter Sight-in to get it ready for deer season.
I was standing behind him when he fired his 1st shot, and my thought was "WOW!! That was loud!"
Turned out he had loaded up with smokeless powder and the gun blew up like a bomb.
He was extremely lucky that he didn't lose any of his face and nobody else got hurt either.
Now at check-in the MRC folks make sure that a ML is accompanied by the correct propellant.
