Iver Johnson .22 M1 Carbine

I've got an Iver Johnson .22 M1 carbine. The old pot metal bolt handle broke off and i need to replace it. I took it to gun-shafters in salem and they said it was unfixable as the parts are not around anymore. I never have trusted guncrafters and i'd really like another opinion. could a new one be CNC'd? Anyway to find some blue prints for the parts?

When I googled "iver Johnson parts" There was also a link to a place called Bob's Gun Shop that apparently still has some obsolete Iver Johnson gun parts.
