M1 Enforcer and stock compatibility?

What I think should be an easy question — the Iver Johnson pattern M1 Enforcers*: are the stocks compatible with every other M1/2 Carbine or is swapping said† going to require some gunsmith work?

† Yes I know short barrel, NFA, etc. The one I'm eyeing for a move on Monday already is registered as an NFA item, so moot point.

While I don't know for certain, I'd imagine the receivers were all made the same regardless of sub model so if a regular M1 can wear one easily, an enforcer should, too.

That too is the assumption I'm working on. Though I haven't done a deep study of the commercial variants made in the postwar period, so can't say for certain.

I can't speak for Iver Johnson, but Universal changed the trigger group shape when they ran out of military surplus and started making their own and the stock cutout had to change to accommodate it. Picture linked below shows Military cut above and Universal commercial cut below.
