Info/value on these “vintage” binoculars?

I recently came across these at an estate sale.

Not sure the age (old) I believe they are Leitz (Leica). The tag looks like it came off.

Trinovid 10x40 made in Germany. Glass is clear. Rubber is decent.

Any idea of value or age etc? I don’t think I need them but I couldn’t pass them up

Oh jeez. I see leitz became Leica. Not sure if age is good thing in optics or bad. Probably depends how they are cared for. I just saw made in Germany and they looked nice looking out the window. I don’t think many people looked at them being they looked old

In their day, they were top drawer.
That being said, there are binos available today for less than $250 that are superior to these on many levels.
If they ever need repair, DO NOT send them to Leica USA.
In my experience, Bubba is in charge of binocular repairs.
They are a very useable pair of binos. Enjoy!

Best,
Gary
