Importing a truck from Canada to Washington

Hey all!

Being as most of us here reside in the PNW, I was wondering if anyone has any first hand experience importing a vehicle from Canada to the USA.

I am looking at purchasing (financing) a late model Ford truck from a private party in Vancouver, CA.

I've done some research but can't get any solid answers. does anyone know exactly how this works? It looks like since the truck was manufactured in the USA fees would be minimal, but I may have to pay an EPA fee? Any knowledge would be super helpful.

Haven't done it, but there is info online. Recommend you talk to your insurance agent and WA Dept of Motor Vehicles.
