2012, certain gun prices came down a little bit, but not by much....
Its 2019 now and we can get $350 complete, budget, decent quality AR15s, with some models (polymer lower) being even cheaper... AKs are still $600+ though. I haven't seen SKS for less than $400 around here.

As opposed to our own Politicians making us look weak and cowardly and bad? <__< I've no desire to commit violence, no illusions that I would die should I rise to fight back, but make no mistake, I will die protecting me and mine to the best of my abilities, regardless of what laws are passed, what people decide to do, and what they wish to be done to me.

Edit; and if I should survive, and see my family well, then I know I have done what was needed to be done, and brook no guilt, but likely remorse at causing death and injury to those who seek to end me and mine.

In the meantime though, prepare and train for the worst. Better to be ready than be caught with pants down

It does no good to get worked up over something that may never happen and getting your mindset into violence.

Instead harness that energy for good. Bring awareness, teach people, email and contact your representative for real world solutions, and support your state Pro 2A organizations.

Panic buying is our own doing. It's not like Obama was buying guns. We were.

That said, a LOT of manufacturers and retailers got stronger because of that strong demand. We also saw the introduction and approval of a lot of popular accessories, like pistol braces, bump stocks, and binary triggers (until Trump decides to Executive Order them out of existence).

Gun buy back is a political term meaning, confiscation. What does that mean? Comply, be jailed or legally murdered. Though if you are legally murdered, I think the term is just, shot.

I'm no tough guy, but I believe government should lead the way. I grew up with cops carrying 6 shooters. Most retired cops said, I went 20 years and never pulled my gun, back then. Uh, not LAPD. But as long as law enforcement is hanging on to their SBRs, MP5s and ARs, I'll call that a clue.
