I, like many gun owners, was shocked at his "take the guns first, due process later" comment, followed up by his idiotic bump stock ban. Now that he's banned bump stocks, other gun accessories can easily be done away with by the stroke of a pen, or "re-interpreting" current regs. While he is still way better than any of the crazy communist Democrats, I remain unconvinced he won't sign a new AWB should one ever get out of Congress. The NRA is so bogged down in scandal, it's stupid and useless. GOA is doing a great job fighting the new regs, but they need more help. Tough times ahead for the 2nd Amendment I fear.

Simple solution, vote in his opponent next year. This has worked very well in WA, OR, and CA for decades. The "better choice" was not good enough so gun owners voted for their opponent. Just look how well it's working? Why not keep doing it?

I'm not going to make it easy for them. The people supporting communists like Beto have never experienced communism. I'm sometimes tempted to let them experience it good and hard. You can vote socialism in, but ya got to shoot your way out. But, I just can't roll over either. Gotta use every legal means at my disposal to try to stop them.

When about half the population finds that they're forevr out of jobs... and find that welfare doesn't exist, and find out that the govt sold them up the river a generation or three ago; and there's nothing govt can do.. . Maybe, just maybe thats the tipping point... until then, expect more people to lose rights and keep voting to lose rights onward.

Election posturing to win over the uninformed evangelicals and non gun friendly fence sitter moderates.
I think it is simply to say he "worked" on it.

The people who want more laws have zero need to get anything passed. All they need to do is get gun owners to again vote for the people who want to make more laws. By getting them to again sit out or throw the vote away, they win again. Laws are then easy later. It has been working great for decades now.
