I did - and I don't even know what to think. Is there a classification beyond radical environmental socialist? If so she must be the new leader.

After registering with I-Fish a few years ago It didn't take me long to realize their 'orientation'. I suspect most of them fall under the 'Professional Sports(person)' category. You know, they belong to all the various 'animal' sports clubs and attend the dinner/meetings. This is the place for hunters who believe the only guns necessary are high end sporting rifles/shotguns and anything auto or black has 'No place in the sporting world' (direct quote)

Its not that way. There are some great salt of the earth guys on there. A handful of guys who I would take my last stand with.

That said there and lot of vinegar and water types on there also. Just like every other forum on the internet.

The site has turned into something I dont care to be a part of anymore. I might go on there and check some photos or sell some fishing gear but thats about it.

No, this thread should be moved to the head of the line. It's fun to bubblegum on Ifish especially after all their years of pious bubblegumting on everyone else.

LOL No I have never been to Ifish. And could careless about that forum. On the other hand I get real tired of this kind of off topic school yard crap invading a great forum like NWFA. This is the General Firearms Forum. I'll shut up if you can in 100 words or less tell me what the hell this Thread has to do with Firearms.

Been on ifish for many years, my favorite infraction was when I typed "assumption is the mother of all **** ups" I got my hand slapped for INSINUATING profanity.... lol, I use it for trout reports and tips. people are very hush hush on salmon/steelhead tricks, spots, and techniques. tried fishing for them many times and I dont have the money to buy all the different gear to find out what works, I will stick with trout and catfish for fun with the kids. I have met a FEW nice people from there but also have seen many posts of holier than thou type folks.

Ifish is LOADED with "holier than thou" types. There are quite a few proffesional internet trolls who do nothing but post on Ifish all day, every day.

Maybe not banned, but I can drop in there once a year, post something pretty innocent, and all the haters jump my a** in about 3 minutes. It should be called liars.net since you get these threads..."Where is the best fishing on the Wilson right now ? " Some dude will say I just slayed them at Mills yesterday. Just to keep people off other areas of the river.

Fishing reports there or most anywhere else are pretty lame anyway. Do your own research.

iFish used to be a regular haunt of mine - but I can't take the bull**** anymore over there. I use it almost exclusively for the classifieds section anymore - because of the jackwagons that infest the general fishing sections. The warm water fishing section has good information - but the regular posters in warm water (bass / panfish / catfish / carp fishing guys) are generally treated like the redheaded step children of that site and loathed by the salmon/steelhead/sturgeon crowd. The hunting section is a mixed bag of "if it's not walnut and blue steel you shouldn't be able to own it" crowd and NWFA type gun nuts.

Oregon Fishing Forum is a better fishing resource anymore - and NWFA is far superior for firearms discussion.

I love to fish - for anything that has fins, breathes through gills, and swims. I fly fish, I spin fish, gear fish, and occasionally even fish with *gasp* bait. I've contributed a lot to iFish over the years - have some tech tips stickied over there even - but aside from the occasional classified post over there - I won't / don't visit that site anymore.

this is the most likely first time any of us that have been pissedupon on that control freak site has had an opportunity to voice an opinion of the pathetic narrow minded management practices..you sure cant voice an opinion over there ....they edit & delete the posts.. there is soooo much prejudice about EVERYTHING ....thank god the womans not racial!!

nobody is whining, we are expressing opinions about bad public behavior and pisspoor treatment, on a website that is way off American fishing & hunting values & traditions

WasrNwarpain is right. There are clearly issues over there. For proof just look how this thread has taken a life of it's own and as of now it runs 5 pages. Wonder how many times Queen Jenny and her minions have checked it.
