I love Case knives, especially the Stockman series. That is one beautiful knife and carbon steel too.

Where did you buy yours?
I had to look it up, because it was a pre-order and I purchased it several months ago, but I bought it from Red Hill Cutlery's website. I have bought a couple of Case knives from them and they are great to deal with. I really like the knife, in terms of fit and finish it is top notch. Good action, but the blade centering rubs the pile side liner. Not a big deal though.

Bought a $9 stiletto type knife from Amazon just to play with. Came with ridiculously wide scales and square on the edges. Sanded them down to about half their width and curved the edges. Lightweight little thing. It will probably become a letter opener but I'll carry it in my pocket for a while in addition to edc knife just to see how it carries. Liner lock flipper on ball bearings.

Everyone knows you are supposed to use bananas for scale . . . ;-)

Looks like that would make a good steak knife!

This is an interesting one I found but didn't buy due to cost. Folding fillet knife. Interesting handle. It folds in on itself when the blade is extended. Called Civivi Shawka.

I found a use for it! What do you do when a good cigar is getting to small to hold?

:s0112:

It actually cuts very well after reprofiling it with a palm sander. Original bevel was way way off. It pierces darn near anything due to thin pointy tip. D2 steel means I only need to sharpen with diamond stones on spyderco triangle sharpener to make it very sharp. To thin and dainty for tough tasks but great for opening a bag of chips! :s0112:

Accidentally dropped it on wood floor from no great height and took a gouge out of the floor. Sheesh this thing pierces so easily. Woudl be cool if there was a longer version of this. Maybe 6" blade. I'd buy it if there was despite having to do hand work on it. 6" in this shape with more of a hollow grind woudl be an amazing knife, but probably somewhat prone to breaking I woudl guess if put to hard use.
