There is an odd risk vs reward calculation that gun haters use. If we eliminated mobile devices in cars or cars for that matter it would save many lives including the lives of children. But since the gun haters enjoy the use of these things they won't dare ban them. But when it is something that they could give a rats booty about then it's fair game.
