...We teach them safety and proper handling skills. This works better than teaching them what to think.

And we let them shoot as much .22 as they can...which was about 2000 rounds today. I'm sure that would make Kate Brown spot her boys briefs.

Well if uncle @308 is buying the ammo I'll send the kids over for some target practice :D:D

That looks like fun! I've been taking my kids to the range a bunch lately and the more we go, the more they want to go. My wife loves all going as a family and shooting too.

As long as we bring snacks all is well, plus DRRC is a really great place to hang out on a nice day.

Awesome! Great job 308! I wish my kids liked to shoot. They have zero interest in firearms. I did teach them firearms safety though. I did the same thing my Dad did for my brother and I when we were little. He taught us firearms safety (he made us take hunters safety in school back when it wasn't forbidden) and let us shoot.

He would haul out his 22 rifle and pistol and let us shoot all we wanted back when .22 LR was super cheap;). It took all the mystery and intrigue out of guns for my brother and I and in the end kept us from being stupid and sneaking into his guns. My brother ended up with no interest in firearms and I ended up collecting them.
