Correct me if I'm wrong but from my understanding Tri-Met property to include shelters and stops are premises open to the public but is owned/ran by a business. They should have the right to regulate rules or refuse service to anyone.

TriMet is a gov't agency and does not have the authority to regulate firearms possession or concealed carry, in Oregon that authority is vested solely in the Legislature.

Technically, Tri-Met is a transit district with affiliated agency. Tri-Met can issue "codes" as a transit district - but the Legislature does not grant the power to regulate firearms to transit districts, only to counties and cities.

I asked a fare inspector what his first name was last week (no name tag, faded ragged TriMet jacket) and thought I was gonna get a colonoscopy. Can't wait to run into the DHS. They are trained in colon inspections.
