H322, Tac or IMR3031 for 223 and 308 with heavier bullets?

Which would you choose between IMR3031, Ramshot TAC and Hodgdons H-322 for versatile 223 77gr and 308 170ish grain bullet loads and why.

Personally of those I'd use H322 since it's more versatile but depends of what you're trying to do. I'd use either Win748 or BL-C(2) since they both work good for those weights and bit cheaper.

No personal experience, but I just did some fiddling on the Hodgdon site and the TAC will run the gamete using a range of bullets weights including yours.

I cannot speak for TAC because I've never used it. Choosing between the other two, H332 is an easy choice over IMR3031. H332 is a more efficient powder in .223, and it flows way more easily.

My preference is to use H332 on lighter .223 bullets, and use a little slower powder for the heavier ones. But you use what you can get these days. I also don't like to compress loads and this can be an issue with heavier bullets over stick powders in .223. One of the advantages of H332 is the small kernel size.

H322 is known for winning matches, at least in .223/5.56 with heavies.

No experience with it in 308
