I bought a Guntec 15" handguard and it has a an aluminum barrel nut included. I am wondering since my rifles have a steel barrel nuts, is it OK to put an aluminum barrel nut? I know steel is a lot stronger than aluminum for the barrel nut, Guntec is made is the USA in Scottsdale Arizona. I was watching a few youtube videos. Watched a guy change out Magpul handguard and delta rings to a Guntec. Then I watched another video and it screws were loose and this guy so rifle class and fired 1400 rounds.
