Hey guys, I wanted to make a new post with some additional services that I can offer. For those of you that don't know me, I operate a machine shop just outside of Vernonia. I have tooled up to focus on more firearm oriented work. If you don't see something offered on the list below, feel free to reach out via PM to see if I can help out with your next project! Please note, these are all base prices and can vary depending on the level of involvement. But, generally, this is a pretty good representation of what your cost will be.
I have added barrel fitting to the price list. This is what you need to get your contoured blank to work on your action!
I also added a service that allows me to thread skinnier barrels. If you have a barrel with a OD near the muzzle that measures, say, .650", and you want 5/8"-24 threads, this does not leave enough material for a proper thread shoulder. The answer to this problem is either thread the barrel 9/16-24, or add a collar. The collar is a separate piece I machine that gets torqued onto the muzzle threads, and then the barrel-collar assembly gets remachined so that the collar acts as the shoulder of the threads, ensuring proper suppressor alignment. If you are not sure if your barrel diameter is sufficient, you can refer to Thunderbeast's thread spec chart found here:
I also now have a machine that is capable of doing metric threads! AK guys, rejoice!
