Out of curiosity, is this publication still around? Searching a bit this morning on the Intratubes tells me the answer is "no". Just curious.

As to the why question, I saw cover features something so bizarre, I was looking for a back issue. That and general interest as I remember the periodical from back in the day.

I don't think so. There was an article on some gun website around late 2018 saying they were shutting down. The last entry on their facebook page was early 2019. There is a subscription listed on Amazon but when you add it to your cart you get an error.
