I'm just curious if anyone is putting (or expecting to get) any gun related stocking suffers out this year.

I'm throwing in a box of ammo at least.

No, but now I am wishing I had asked for something specific, like a couple of BX-25 Magazines, rather than a Bi-Mart Gift Card. Not that I would complain if I received the Gift Card. I never have any trouble spending my money at that store.

Willamette Valley Arms had them custom made for themselves (and display). If you go in and ask when they open again on Friday, there MIGHT be a possibility of being able to have them made in time. While I was there last night, they took orders for a few from long-time customers, but weren't positive when they would come in.

They'll take orders, I'm sure. I think they were saying it was like $20 for the sock, and additional for the Jack Daniels holder attachment :)

My lovely wife bought me a Galco Cop3 holster and a pair Sig magazines! Actual presents not stocking stuffers. She wouldn't spring for a mag pouch though, she thinks shooting gear is expensive! I have been wheedling for some ammo cans for the stocking.

Hope everyone gets their wishes fulfilled!

A couple years ago my son and I exchanged gifts and both started chuckling as we opened them - identical boresnakes!

    Lee Deluxe .223 reloading die.

I think my mom ordered them about a month ago...I sure hope she did, because I doubt she'll find 'em now.

Some ideas: bore snake, Bi-Mart/Cabela's etc. gift card (you can only put so much ammo in a stocking before it breaks), homemade gift certificates for a "Day at the Range with Lunch", shooting glasses (can never have too many), and customized/funny targets (http://www.targetz.com/fun01.htm).

You can always run a string from the toe to the heavy stuff!
