Interesting story out of Texas. If this man's constitutional right can be taken due to his association with "bad guys" - Who's next?

Scary..!!
Taking your rights away without even having to prove you actually participated in an actual crime.
Guilt by association .Thats something you can use to go after any group of people you want.
Let's start with our politicians!
No doubt it will be fought in court, and hopefully beat. What really bothers me is that they got some prosecutor to do this in the first place and got a jury to go along with it. Shows just how bad things are.I suspect a blanket law banning firearms possession for association with a group is effectively bill of attainder (basically a legislature declaring a group or individual guilty of a crime and punishing them) and likely will be challenged on that principle...
Same as we said when the Lefties wanted to lynch Roy Moore and the Neverdouches threw him under the bus, which is now being turned against Kavanaugh. Never let Pandora's Box get opened unless you're okay with experiencing the worst possible consequences coming to yourself and your loved ones...It should be challenged.
NRA is declared a terrorist organization (actually has been said by some politicians) and all members are banned from owning firearms.
NWFA is declared a terrorist organization and all members are banned from owning firearms.
All gun ranges are declared terrorist training facilities and all members are banned from owning firearms.
This would be an easy way to implement gun control.
Now that's gun controlWhenever I am called for jury duty, I show up with a noose necktie.
All gang members should be shot on sight. That's how to get a grip on the gang problem.
Non-Unanimous Jury Law in OregonSadly this speaks to a couple things. One the dumbing down of the populace. That they could get a jury to go along with this shows how successful they have been.
Two, it shows why if you get called for jury duty you should make every effort to do your part. You could be the person next at a court with them trying to convict you of something this stupid. Do you want the jury pool made up of the same ones who did this?

Damn, I had never heard of that. Even more reason to be careful in that state.
Think the ACLU will weigh-in on this one?
I was thinking the same thing. On one hand, they hate guns just like every other bunch of lefties. OTOH, there are some pretty clear 1A, 2A, and 5A violations here. They should.
It will be interesting either way whether they do or not.
Why am I not surprised that this law would exist in Oregon....
