Years ago, ( I think it was in the 80's, I had my first Bench Gun built by Steve Kostinich out of Washington state. He has become a dear friend.
Over the years he has built 6 or seven more for me, not counting dozens of barrels. Anyway the other day I was cleaning that (sh!t house )I call
my reloading room and found this picture. I had just picked up the Gun and mounted the scope and was out sighting it in for the first time
when a horse fry landed on the target. I said to myself (I wonder ) I took the shot outside the rings and the splatter you see is what's left of the horse fly.
I was hooked. No big deal, just another fond memory. After that I started painting the out side of the targets with Sugar and water.
