What are some good movies that show good firearms tactics and techniques?

One of my favorites is The way of the Gun.

That one where John Wayne shoots once and 5 Indians drop dead and he never has to reload.

That's funny right there. Especially the part where Costner's character forgets he's got an ejector rod on his six-gun.

"Lone Wolf McQuade" with Chuck Norris. Only man to be an expert shot with a Mac 10 in each hand.

Not that they're the central points of the movies or anything, but always been impressed with the gun handling in Tom Selleck's Jesse Stone movies. Proper grip, good trigger discipline, tactical reloads, realistic marksmanship, training at the range, "in a fight, front sight", etc.

Heat, the best example of shoot, move and covering fire

The Killer, its amazing how many rounds can be put into 92FS magazine so that the hero doesn't have to reload.

Rambo on shooting from the hip.

Just wag the AK back and forth and the back guys out to 75 yards fall like flies.

He can take on skeet shooting with ease.

Heat, Collateral and Way of the Gun are hands down some of the best real life firearms techniques I've ever seen in movies.

The worst. Desperado. Love the double mag drop. Now you have two empty guns.

I thought the first contact scene from Battle: Los Angeles was pretty well directed.

corny hollywood crap aside, Battle LA had authentic sequences because the movie was produced with direct involvement of a number of Marine advisors from camp pendleton.

I enjoyed that flick a lot, because it was one of the few "alien invasion" type movies where the aliens weren't massively over-powerful, and were really only a century or so ahead of us in technology, weapons-wise.
