Firearm training for kids

Are there any classes for kids other than online? We have a 12yr old girl that we treat as a grandchild, although she isn't. She comes from a rough background and spends a lot of time with us. She want's to learn to shoot and I think she would absorb more in a class than she would from me.

It is a long way from Corvallis, but Safefire shooting range in Camas, WA has a youth intro to guns class. I had my middle boy take it and they did a very good job. Maybe check websites of ranges in your area?
