Antifa type mob pushes its way through police and continues on to attempt to break into a session of congress. Smashed windows. Broken furniture. The Trump administration, elected again in 2024, responds by mowing down the crowd with helicopter gunships.

Good shoot.

America is a constitutional democratic republic. Its not a pure republic because you and i can vote for new laws. Thats the democratic part. But you vote for representatives too, right? Thats the representative republic part. But we are in no shape or form a pure republic. Not even close. Unless you want to give up your current rights of a voter, we can never become a pure republic. But if that's something you want, perhaps you would be happier in a true republic, like iraq.
So, where do I begin. The United States of America is not a "Constitutional democratic Republic" no matter what you believe or what MSNBC tells you. The democracy part is not what gives us the right to vote, it's that silly old piece of "paper" that the left hates so much, the "Constitution" that does that. Oh and No I don't want to move to Iraq (been there done that, twice) and they do not have a "Constitutional Republic" they are a federal parliamentary representative democratic republic. There is a huge difference in our type of government and theirs. Unfortunately, looking stuff up on the internet these days will result in some erroneous information more times than not.

There is also no such thing as a "Representative republic" (where do you come up with this stuff), there is however a representative democracy which is a form of governance. Yes, we vote for representatives, again the constitution set that down for us, but we don't have representatives that democracy for us!

Hilldale College has some great courses on U.S. History as well as U.S. Government.
