All the smoke a has made me aware of the wind patterns for this area and how it carries things.

I've done a decent job keeping air inside reasonably cleaner than outside. I'm at a 270 currently in the index and one of the air filters I've got that has a built in air quality sensor states my home is (at least the living room it presides in) decent and has only jumped to poor quality a handful of times.

I keep a good amount of duct tape, and plastic sheeting (painting covers) available for an event. I'm far from perfect, but at least this smoke has given me some things to think about in terms of a nuclear event in our surrounding areas.
