Extreme SBR - 2" Barrel AR....Why??

Maybe some of you have already seen this - it's new to me though. While I find it a curiosity, I can't see any possible reason to bother with a build like this. I wonder what the twist rate would have to be, 1/1.5??

There is no practical purpose to this and that's ok. It was done basically just to see if they could.

A couple of years back, there was a guy at the Saddle Butte Machine Gun Shoot that had the same setup, but in 308.
You didn't want to be next to it when it was fired.

I'm sure you can see them flying through the air too. Velocities must be around the same as an underhand tossed softball.
