Even N95 can not stop a virus particle, that is not what they are for. The idea is to stop liquid as in cough or sneeze, which if the person is infected will have the virus in it. You can easily make a mask at home that will protect you as well as an N95. There is still an amazing amount of "well I thought.........." going around about this. Anyone who has ever used an N95 while working with dusts can tell you they do not stop everything. In medical care this is why if they are doing things to a patient who has things like this, or virus we have been fighting for a long time like TB they use more than just N95

I understand that, and have a box of N95 for riding our SxS in dusty conditions. A lot of people I've spoken to are wearing home made masks for self-protection, and that was why I said what I did. At the local Tractor Supply Store, the checkout people are wearing face shields normally used for grinding. The local coffee stand gals have a plexiglass panel in place at the drive through...I asked If it was to keep them from getting infected by customers? She said it was to keep the customer safe from them...as she handed me my coffee...the coffee she just squeezed a lid on.

A LOT of the people pushing to stay closed are VERY wealthy. One thing many who are rich beyond what many can really comprehend want is control. They want control of the masses. It is why so many of them speak highly of some flavor of Socialism. While the people who vote for it "think" it means they will all be equal anyone with common sense knows this is NOT how it works. With a top down Government there are lots of beyond comprehension rich. They control the masses who are very poor. It's easy to see with billionaires who claim they do not like the way they pay so little in taxes. Yet they pay some accounting firm millions of bucks to keep them from paying more in. If they really want to pay more into the Government all they would have to do is not pay to take advantage of every tax deduction.

To solve the problem, the authors call for a Pandemic Profiteering Oversight Committee, a Corporate Transparency Act to discourage wealth hiding, and an emergency 10% Millionaire Income Surtax, among other actions.

Sadly this again goes to the voters. The extremely rich still do not get to make the laws. While both parties love money to pass laws, one party loves to pretend they had nothing to do with this as they "claim" they are out to "get the rich". Of course they also fail to mention they are often the "rich" they claim to be after. Every time they talk about "tax loophole" what they are really talking about is tax law, that they all voted to pass. Many of the VERY rich love to play the card that it's not their fault only to keep the peasants from coming to their homes with torches. While they talk about how they wish they could pay more they never mention the accounting firms they pay millions to so they can take advantage of the tax laws. Really want to pay more? Just tell your accounting firm to ignore some of the laws that help and pay more. None of them line up to do that of course, and none of the law makers screaming about "loop holes" are passing laws to close them are they?
