One of the motivations long ago for me to become self employed was the usual liberal turd in the company punch bowl, the kind who does exactly that DMax, they hate you for being pro second, so they try to get you silenced. In reality these kind only want "rights" that represent the degenerate, "rights" that destroy our Republic

We got here by being tolerant and now that they rule the roost, they've done the smart thing and removed that avenue. Classic communist takeover.

I think it is funny when people start screaming until they are red in the face and stomping their feet about how hateful and intolerant you are after you tell them what you think is immoral. He didn't say you can't be gay, or gay people should be persecuted. He actually says that we should all love one another and not treat people differently if they disagree with you. Oh yeah, what a hate monger.

Never watched more than half of a show, but I think I might now. Not on A&E though.

Oh, and this is not a 1A issue any more than it is a 2A issue. I support A&E's right to terminate their arrangement with Phil (as long as it is within their contract). I just think it is stupid, wrong, and indicative of some major problems in our society today (especially in entertainment/"news").

Phil warned them long ago that guns and God talk was on the table or he would quit. They knew of his views long ago

Lots of funny memes today about this topic. This one is particularly poignant here despite the fact it is a misused of "advice mallard." As someone who is around a lot of liberals, leftists, even full-blooded Democrats, I can tell you with conviction that most really don't care what Phil Roberson says and are OK with disagreeing. Few people are as extreme as you guys like to go on about. I do understand exaggeration is for funsies though.

And the moral, of course, is that if you try to please everyone you will never know what to do, it will be hard to get anywhere, you will please no-one, not even yourself, and you will probably lose your a$$.

Today Glenn Beck said he would host them on his Online TV show with no barries the duck family being themselves. Way to slap the left media right in the utopia.

Robertson Family Releases Statement on A&E Decision to Suspend Phil Robertson

West Monroe -- The Robertson family has released a statement in light on A&E decision to suspend patriarch Phil Robertson in light of the comments he made to GQ.

"We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E's decision. We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word.

While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible. Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Phil would never incite or encourage hate.We are disappointed that Phil has been placed on hiatus for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right.

We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm. We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty.
