"Engaging"? With tail wagging the whole time, it looks more like Bullet was just distracting them by trying to lick the guy's face (or hump his leg, not clear which). Regardless, it was good that the dog let the manager beat the drop. The clerk who got hit four times might have a different take on the matter.

They could hear screaming and shouting before the firing from the house stopped. When the team entered the building they saw the dog standing over a dead gunman.
