While I was in collage before entering the military, I was in the doctor's office for something, there was a nice Japanese guy there that as it turned out I knew his family. We had a nice conversation, his leg was splinted and he was walking with a cane. So, (he was a few years older than me) we talked about his recent 6 years in the army as a Green Beret with several tours in Vietnam Nam. Deffinatly a tough operator (I knew his younger brother, state champion Karate champ) so the conversation drifted to his injured leg. It seems that he had gone out and bought a new Ruger 357 Mag six gun and was showing off to his girlfriend.......quick draw......the bullet went into his thigh, through his knee and out his calf.........after 4 tours as a Green Beret in Vietnam Nam without a scratch......... it was a learning experiance for me as a young guy.
