@Jo Rae Perkins I'm from the other side of The River, but it's nice to see someone in the Northwest running for office on a platform embracing us rather than the "arm's length" attitude I saw toward the Gun Vote when I was active in Washington's GOP.

• 43 and 44 are DOA... for now.
• Look for new IP's from the same groups filed sooner and with less debatable language.
• Look for the Oregon Legislature to make it a moot point by passing likely even worse legislation first thing in February.

If you don't want this then make certain you are registered and vote this fall. Also make certain you educate as many others as possible. The only way we can avoid this is to restore balance to our legislature and elect a Governor who won't simply rubber stamp anything the crazies put in front of them.
