My opinion: The epidemic of mass killings of innocents by disgruntled outcasts is but a mere symptom of our badly-broken society. Take the guns out of the picture, and this does nothing to address the underlying discontent that would compel a person to lose their schmidt and kill a bunch of strangers. Recall the guy who rammed its SUV through a Christmas parade in Wisconsin. No gun laws would have prevented this piece of human garbage from carrying out its dastardly deed, and it was only able to perpetrate its massacre because it was released early from prison in the name of "equity."

We are in the grips of a perfect storm of hypernarcissism, political malfeasance, cultural rot, and a facile web of pallid fallacies which seek to shelter bad actors from the consequences of their crimes.
