Change of address for CHL in Oregon question.

So I have an out of state Oregon CHL, but I just moved here and need to change my address to Jackson County. I'm I going to loose my permit for a time period while they change it? And should I wait till I get my hard copy of my new Oregon DL before I go in (currently just have the paper interim DL)?

Check the "change of address" instructions for your county, in Washington Co they require first to update the DMV records before applying for address change. You will be required to present a valid ID with your new address as well, which your interim DL is not.

In Yamhill they tell you that the receipt works as a CHL until you get the hard copy.

Thanks all for the reply! Hopefully my hard copy gets here soon and I can go in and change the address.
