Can we have a civil discourse on guns?

Yesterday in The Forecaster, a Falmouth, Maine-based news organ, a story covered a recently-launched initiative campaign to get a background check measure on the 2016 ballot, and just as in Nevada and last year in Washington, the effort is getting big bucks support from Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown for Gun Safety lobbying group.

Your irrationality does not trump my constitutional and civil right. Let's talk about cleaning up the neighborhoods where gun violence runs rampant shall we?

We can, but it seams that the anti's can't. We do it here everyday.

Gun ownership cannot be regulated at the mercy of our government - that defeats the whole purpose of why the 2A exists in the first place.

Imagine a license to speak (although sometimes I wish there was such a thing).
